The BOARDROOM INSTITUTE (TBI) is a subsidiary of Accra Business School (ABS), a private Christian university in Ghana, accredited by the National Accreditation Board of Ghana to offer globally recognized postgraduate and undergraduate programmes and affiliated to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)) and the Australian Institute of Business (AIB).

The Membership Pathway
The membership of the Boardroom Institute is earned through the membership programme. The membership programme of the Institute is a 3-level professional certification programme designed as an ongoing competence development process.
2 Associate Fellow
Associate fellowship of the Boardroom Institute is earned in two ways:

Upon the completion of the membership programme, members can now apply to undertake the associate fellows programme

Corporate and business executives who meet the entry requirement of the associate fellows programme
3 Fellow
The Boardroom Institute’s membership board, may invite high caliber members to apply for either a fellow or senior fellow’s status. Such members usually are senior executives with years of experience in corporate governance and who are willing to become ambassadors of the the Boardroom Institute and may be required to offer mentorship to emerging corporate leaders who are members of the board room.
4 Senior Fellow
From time to time, the Boardroom confers the honorary and distinquished status on individuals in recognition of their contribution to good corporate governance practices. Such individuals have achieved eminence in the field of corporate governance and have earned distinction for activities, associated more widely with best practices in corporate governance.
